9th Annual Charity Golf Outing in Support of the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network!

The Winslow Gin House & Eatery is thrilled to announce the much-awaited 9th Annual Charity Golf Outing, set to take place on Monday, September 25, at the picturesque Dyker Beach Golf Course in southwest Brooklyn. 

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network, a charitable organization providing essential support, resources, and information to families with Down syndrome. 

Our 2023 outing promises to be an unforgettable day of fun, sportsmanship, and giving back to the community.

A Day of Fun, Friends, and Golf

The Winslow’s 9th Annual Charity Golf Outing will kick off with a delicious breakfast at The Winslow Gin House & Eatery, located at 243 E. 14th Street, Manhattan, NY 10003. 

The festivities begin at 10:30 am, allowing plenty of time for mingling, excitement, and lots of trash-talking. Players will board the bus at 11:30 am, setting off for the challenging but fun Dyker Beach Golf Course.

Dyker Beach Golf Course 

Nestled in southwest Brooklyn, Dyker Beach Golf Course has been a favorite of golf enthusiasts for decades. This par 72 course, originally designed in 1897 and later redesigned in 1935, promises to offer an exhilarating golfing experience for everyone. 

Maintained by American Golf, the course boasts scenic views and strategic challenges, making it the perfect backdrop for our charity event.

A Day of Sportsmanship and Giving

Tee time is at 12:30 PM. Golfers will compete in a four-person scramble shotgun start. Participants will have the opportunity to win exciting prizes for “The Winning Team,” “Closest to the Pin,” and “Longest Drive” on select holes.

Beer and drinks will be provided on the bus and course. The participants will also be treated to lunch on the course.

Back to The Winslow for Celebration 

After a memorable day of golfing, the bus will bring everyone back to The Winslow Gin House & Eatery. The celebration continues with a two-hour open bar, featuring a delightful selection of beers and wines. Participants can enjoy live music and join in a raffle drawing for a chance to win fantastic prizes.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

For those unable to join the 9th Annual Charity Golf Outing, there are still ways to support this meaningful cause. You can make a direct donation or choose to be a sponsor. Each hole sponsorship is $150, and in return, your company’s name and logo will be prominently displayed at the sponsored hole. You can also contribute to the event by donating prizes for games and the raffle.
