The Bills Are Back

The Bills are on a three-game winning streak after blowing out the Miami Dolphins in a 48-20 victory. 

The Bills had a poor season opener. They lost in overtime to the Jets that had just lost Aaron Rodgers. They were playing in a flat and deflated environment- and there may have been a little bit of the old “win one for the Gipper” going on with the Jets that night. 

That opening night fluke had the media overreacting and even questioning if Allen should still be the starter. Since that game, the Bills have gone on a tear beating each of their next three opponents by at least 28 points. 

With his ongoing performance, Allen is now the Vegas favorite to win NFL MVP this year, overtaking recent opponent Tua Tagovailoa. In week 5, Allen will face off against another phenom in Trevor Lawrence. 

In week six, the Bills play against the New York Giants who are coached by former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. While he does know the Bills better than anyone, even Daboll is going to have a hard time stopping this powerhouse offense led by Allen and Stefon Diggs. 

What Makes the Bills So Good Now?

The Buffalo Bills have spent years building a solid team with depth at almost every position. They are well-balanced with a fast-paced, prolific offense and a hard-hitting defense. This squad is so well-rounded that they are hard to game plan against. 

In addition to being a well-built team, they play with a lot of heart. Other teams could have been distracted by what happened with Damar Hamlin, but instead, the Bills let it be a driving force and a reason to fight on. 

Individually, the team has great players as well. Allen is one of the top quarterbacks in the league and Diggs is a premiere wide receiver. All of the runningbacks could be starters somewhere else- and have been. Safeties Micah Hyde and Damar Hamlin keep things quiet on the other side of the ball. The Bills are as hard to score against as they are to stop. 

Bills Season Predictions

The Bills do not have a cake schedule this season. They have to face the Chiefs, Eagles, and Cowboys as the season goes on and divisional games will be hard-fought, too. 

However, like many years past, the Bills are sneaky good. No one is really paying much attention. While other teams have been heavily praised for their dominant performances, Allen has faced a lot of criticism. 

Although the Bills aren’t considered real contenders by many of the experts, you can’t tell our team that! The Bills are a tough group and they don’t let the outside noise affect them. They will fight all season long to come out on top. Getting to the big game is not out of their grasp.
