Italy will host France at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Saturday 6th February in the opening fixture of the 2021 Six Nations Championship.
The winner of this match will be presented with the Giuseppe Garibaldi Trophy, which was first awarded in 2007 and was most recently won by France following their 35-22 victory over Italy during the 2020 Championship.
Italy and France have contested 44 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1937. France have won 41 of those encounters, with Italy only managing three wins.
