Thanks to the Union Square-14th Street District Vision Plan, you can expect new bistro tables and chairs with umbrellas and new, clear signage in Union Square Park. 120-122 Fifth Avenue, Microsoft’s New York City Headquarters, will be fully expanded and renovated. Additionally, Urbanspace is welcoming 13 vendors to its new food hall.

Warby Parker’s 200th location is opening in Union Square, offering their signature frames. Ariston Flowers’s new location will include a coffee shop to keep you comfortable while you choose your arrangements. As always you will find dozens of retailers in the area, including Forbidden Planet, Five Below, Happy Socks, Paragon Sports, Strand Bookstore, Pet Central, City Papery, Bedford Cheese Shop, and many more.
While it won’t be open this spring, Target will also be opening its doors at a new Union Square location later this year.
Catch a Show or See an Exhibition
It just wouldn’t be NYC if there weren’t cool opportunities to support the arts and have a great time doing it.
The Classic Stage Company welcomes black odyssey which is a powerful story about a soldier finding his way home. Celebrating its 40th year, the Vineyard Theatre has two new shows this year. Michael R. Jackson’s musical White Girl in Danger runs from March 15 – May 21. Tori Sampson’s This Land Was Made presents the history of social activism with the backdrop of late 1960s Oakland, California, and runs from May 18 to June 25.
You can also see Hip Hop: Conscious, Unconscious at Fotografiska. The traveling exhibit celebrating hip-hop will have its premiere showing through May 2023. Don’t miss this immersive experience in Union Square.

There is nothing you will find more enjoyable than grabbing brunch with a family member, friend, or that special someone at The Winslow, especially on the weekend.
